iTOPS consolidates and virtualises servers for Hewlett Packard :
iTOPS has helped Hewlett Packard's local software development centre by virtualising physical servers. Twenty physical servers were converted to virtual servers, and now run on two physical servers, running VMware ESX connected to a SAN. This has allowed the customer to reduce their server hosting and hardware support costs.
iTOPS implements Small Business Server 2008 for GCA Lawyers :
iTOPS implemented the latest HP Proliant series server with Windows Small Business Server 2008 and migrated and consolidated the firm from two servers running SBS 2003 and Linux. This has reduced the complexity, and improved the reliability and performance, of their IT environment.
iTOPS assists Hewlett Packard with virtual desktop infrastructure :
iTOPS is now working to support the virtualised desktop infrastructure that Hewlett Packard employees in Auckland use to connect to business customers throughout New Zealand. We are working with HP to design and develop this infrastructure further so that it can be used, accessed, and managed by HP teams based throughout New Zealand.
iTOPS implements new IT systems for EcoSmartHome :
EcoSmartHome, which assesses and advices on home energy efficiency, needed a network implemented that would reliably support their call centre, office staff, and roving assessors. iTOPS implemented software and hardware from industry leaders - a Hewlett Packard Proliant server running Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 with Cisco networking equipment. This gives them the desired reliability, and the ability to access their information from anywhere securely.
iTOPS managed the roll out and replacement of network printers and retirement of a print server for the Hewlett Packard Christchurch office. The roll out included setup of HP Colour LaserJet 4700, HP LaserJet M4345, HP Laserjet 9050 printers. The setup included changover of a large number of staff from use of printers hosted on a print server to direct access to printers via the HP Universal Printer Driver.
We were selected as one of the 10 businesses accepted into the CDC's 15th round of the CDC Hi-Tech Launch Programme. The course we completed was spread out over 14 weeks and is tailored to help emerging technology companies develop their busiesses. We greatly appreciated the advice, assistance, and contacts we made through the course.
Telecom NZ International contracted iTOPS to provide consultancy services for a planned implementation of Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest source control and defect tracking systems.
iTOPS implements new IT systems for EnergyMad :
EnergyMad, the top ranked in the
Deloitte Fast 50 for 2007, wanted a secure industry standard IT infrastructure implemented which allowed the flexibility to work remotely when not in
their offices...iTOPS implemented a HP Proliant server running Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 that amoungst other things
provides for secure remote access via Virtual Private Network (VPN), Outlook Web Access and the Remote Web Workplace.
The network is secured via multiple firewalls and two factor authentication for wireless network access. The computers are
secured by using Windows Server Update Services for a centralised operating system patching solution and McAfee Total Protection
for Small Business Advanced for protection from SPAM, viruses and spyware. The data is also further protected by redundent disks
on the server and a comprehensive backup solution utilising a tape drive and multiple tapes for offsite data storage.
